Idea Two for Short Film

A couple fall deeply in love to the point where they're planning their wedding. The man is a famous footballer who is about to be signed to one of the worlds biggest, most successful football teams. As the couple are living together the woman finds no harm in going through her partners mail. One day as she was doing this she came across an offer for her partner to be signed to one of the worlds wealthiest football teams and decides to hide the letter from him. He hears nothing else about this offer from anyone else and is therefore unaware that they want to buy him. 1 month later he is asked why he didn't accept the contract offer as it was one nobody would have turned down, the man is confused as to what he is being asked. It is only until later that he realises what his partner has done and that it is too late to amend things with the company. He is now left with nothing, his riches have turned to rags.. The poor man now heartbroken about his career and partner wonders what he should do next...
